Unincorporated Association

By default,  our chapter is considered a “nonprofit association” under California law. A nonprofit association is an unincorporated association with a primary common purpose other than to operate a business for profit.

Our chapter has Federal and State non profit status as a 501(c)6 entity.

The IRS requires all U.S. tax-exempt nonprofits to make public their three most recent Form 990 or 990-PF annual returns (commonly called "990s") and all related supporting documents.
