By default, our chapter is considered a “nonprofit association” under California law. A nonprofit association is an unincorporated association with a primary common purpose other than to operate a business for profit.
Our chapter has Federal and State non profit status as a 501(c)6 entity.
The IRS requires all U.S. tax-exempt nonprofits to make public their three most recent Form 990 or 990-PF annual returns (commonly called "990s") and all related supporting documents. They must also make public their Form 1023, .These documents can be furnished by written request.
OUR Employer identification number (EIN) and all of the documents above can be provided upon written request.
